Background Information:
In November 2001, Clive Wright
conceptualised and initiated ‘Star Plus Technologies’
developing its own Point of Sale and Back Office PC systems.
Clive has been in the IT industry since 1970. In 1984 Clive
joined a company specialising in the
development of Retail Point of Sale and Back Office systems in
Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, New Zealand and
South Africa. In Malaysia (1998) he oversaw the installation and
trained their support personnel for the Point of Sale and Back
Office systems at the new Kuala Lumper International Airport (KLIA).
Our software product Star Plus Technologies Point of
Sale (SPTPOS) is specifically designed for use by
non-computer literate personnel, therefore the accent is on
simplicity and ease of use. SPTPOS facilitates across one or more
businesses the tracking and management of all sales and stock plus
the ability to generate repeat customer business through a
comprehensive customer loyalty sub-system.
